Why do I have no power at the dash?
Latest update: Launched yesterday morning and started right up. Pulled 10 ft from ramp and turned it off to test for trouble. Again, no power to dash, no beeps no guages. Swam back to dock and started to mess with the Perko switch on dual battery setup. After clicking switch to all positions multiple times I regained power at the dash.

Here is the issue, the red wires carry voltage into the switch. When you rotate the switch, the power passes through the contacts within the switch and out on the pin, brown and orange. When you turn it to crank, power comes out on the yellow wire.

If the harness unplugs from the ignition switch, you will only need the switch, but I have seen several applications where the harness is connected to the switch. If that is the way yours is, you’ll have to go that way. It will be obvious when you get to it. should I use electrical grease to put the new ignition switch in.
