Where is the steering fluid on my Nissan Pathfinder?
Just checked mine and the fluid is just below the min level on the dipstick. Will ask dealer to top it off at next oil change. After reading this, thought I’d better check mine too.

Which is better power steering fluid or hydraulic PSF?
The fluid is much lighter viscosity than hydraulic PSF. Don’t know precisely what the difference is but the owner’s manual says to ONLY use Nissan E-PSF. Not worth the hassle to investigate what else would work, etc. The quart I bought will certainly last beyond this vehicle’s life.

I scheduled a regular oil change last week and just casually checked under the hood to see if any other fluids needed attention. what I noticed was the power steering dipstick was completely dry. I looked inside and saw some fluid but it was way too low to touch the bottom of the dipstick.
