We have a Nissan Tilda, and recently whilst driving the car has completely shutdown several times. By shutdown I am talking all engine power, electrical etc…which has been quite scary especially on a freeway. Once we came to a stop and shutdown the engine for 5-10 mins, it would start and run like normal again.

Where is the ECU on a Nissan X?
ECU can’t run engine w/o its input. First I’ve heard of it on an X though. P0340 is the right hand, passenger side, cam sensor located at the back of the cylinder head. I’d check the connector first, just disconnect and visually inspect. If it looks corroded or dirty, you may use WD-40 on both the sensor and harness connectors.
