Is there a problem with my Diesel Patrol?

GU Diesel Cold Starting Problem HELP! so I thought id ask for your opinions/help on my cold starting issue with my 98 GU 4.2l turbo diesel patrol. The car when I bought it had a starting issue (I bought it 3 months ago). Since then the car usually started within 4 goes of trying.

Can a 3 litre diesel be used in a patrol?

As for the 3 litre diesel, refer to your avatar. If you havnt driven a LC100 V8 or 4.2TD then you dont know what your missing out on. Checked the price on V8 100s?
