Why are my signal lights not recognizing the FOB?
If the mcy. signal lights still flash rapidly when trying to start, turn the fob battery over and insert it correctly. The FACTORY installed alarm has it’s own battery, so it will work even if the bike battery is dead/cut/removed. If your signal lights do not flash rapidly when trying to start the bike, it’s not the security system/FOB.

Why do the turn signals quit working when the lights are on?
The reason the turn signals quit working when the lights are on, is that a 12-volt signal is now being sent down the opposite wire, which was acting as a ground before. Once the lights are turned off, everything will work fine again.
What to do if your key fob is not working?
If the key fob is still not working, move on to Step 3. Resetting the key fob will work as if you have bought a new key fob, but only on certain year bikes; usually 2007 and older. If you’ve never changed the security code, it comes automatically factory set as 7-7-7-7-7.
