Do you have ABS on Your 94 R1100RS?
Even if the ABS dos not engage, my brakes work better than my other bikes. The only downside appears to be that blinking red light on the panel. You have basically the same ABS as in my 94 R1100RS. That generation of ABS was very sensitive to low voltage conditions.
Is there a fix for BMW ABS problem?
There is a fix on ADV Rider to rewire the ABS connector to be powered from a relay AFTER the bike is running and the starter button is released. This totally avoids the low voltage soft fail issue. BMW should have done this from day one. There’s a much easier modification than the one listed on the ibmwr.org link.

The thin blue wire on the back of the alternator goes high when the alternator is producing current (when the bike is running), so the ABS unit is only switched on when the bike is actually running.

Is the ABS button on the k1200c the same as the 1150gs?
Note: the K1200, R1200C and R1100S use the same ABS2 units as the 1150GS, but there is no ABS switch to use for the reset procedure. If you can access pin #21 on the large ABS unit plug, you can ground it to achieve the same effect as having the ABS button.
