Are there any FD issues on my 1150 GS?
No FD issues in 44k miles. Problems I did or will have to correct, LH cam chain tensioner, I replaced the spring alone, 10 minutes and less than $2. Also the pivot bearings need adjustment or replacement. I’ll try to adjust them when I borrow the last tool I need, a 30mm socket.
Is the 1100 GS the same as the 1150 GS?
Don’t forget to consider the 1100 GS ! Same ABS brakes as the pre 2003 1150s, lower first gear similar to the 1150 GSA and usually cheaper to purchase as well. Other than some plastic and 5 vs 6 speed gearbox, they really are the same bike.
