Why is my TTR230 dead spot just off idle?

Id adjust the mixture screw first to see if that makes a difference, if not, I’d definately go thru and clean that carb thoroughly and check float height, as far as an informed opinion I havnt worked on any of the ttr’s but my first thought would be a malfunctioning accelerator pump, if that carb is equipted with one.

What kind of CARB does a TTR230 have?

The yamaha dealer (wanker) tells me that none are available for the TTR230. Or do i need to source them OS. Does anyone have any suggestions for sizes given a stock airbox and pipe? It’s an ’07 and the carb is a Teikei Y26P.

Are there any issues with my ttr250 bike?

I have a TTR250 with somewhat similar issue: bike will start cold with choke but won’t idle with it on, and you have to blip it to keep it running until it is hot (not just warm) or start riding it but keep prodding it at lights etc until hot. Would also be iterested in the where abouts of jet Stocks?
