They have a very nice rich exhaust note. But yes they are loud pipes, despite the baffles.
Do you need a tuner for slip-on exhaust?
Just slip-ons are okay with out a tuner. The cat in the head pipe is very restrictive. If you change the air cleaner also then a tuner will be needed.
How much does a Rinehart dbx4.5 exhaust cost?
Seems like the S&S is in the lead. There is a set of Rineharts DBX4.5 currently for sale with less than 30 miles on them for $550. Me being frugal (cheap bastard also), I’m torn, but may lean this way because dealership sells these and this may make it easier not to void warranty (have 5 year) since they sell these in house.

There is no extra flow from the M8 right side, both cans are still 1 3/4 inlet Another reason to go with the Mk45’s is how they flow. For as quiet as they are at idle and low load, you can still drop golf balls straight through them, even with the db reducers installed.

My 2018 Street Glide will not start after installing Rinehart slip ons. What’s the problem? I BOUGHT A NEW HD STREET GLIDE SPECIAL. ON THE BIKE IS A UP TO DATE AIR CLEANER AND A SET OF SCREAMIN EAGLE PIPES AND THE SYSTEM WAS MAPPED.

Our Touring slip-ons do not require, nor do we recommend, tuning when used with the stock headers. Our Softail, Dyna, Sportster, and Indian Scout slip-ons do not require tuning, but it is recommended for maximum performance gains. All of our full systems require tuning upon installation, and upgrading the air cleaner is also recommended.
