Is the shift button on a Honda TRX 450 working?
I’ve replaced the ecu, the angle sensor, checked all the grounds, the shift motor works, the shift buttons work, the battery is fully charged, speed sensor is good, oil temp sensor is new, the display lights up like it should. WHAT THE **** HONDA?
Why is my ESP not working on my TRX 450?
I can go out there right now with the engine off and turn the ignition switch and all ESP functions correctly with the motor off. I start it and run it for 15 minutes idleing or moving and then the ESP quits after several good shifts. I then shut the ignition off and it will NOT reset at all — bascially ESP is dead.
Why does my Honda Foreman 450 not start?
New angle sensor also. After testing I noticed the Neutral and the Reverse lights are stuck “on” and it will not start. Engine can turn over but no spark to the plug. So i unplugged the rear plug that goes to the R,N,1,5 switch on the back of the motor and the lights still stay on.
What should the voltage be on a Honda shift?

Can a Honda shift kit be used on a different model?
Every Honda ES Shift Kit is designed and built for each individual models and years. DO Not attempt to use the same kit on a different model due to the wiring harness lay out is different from model to model and even years of the same model can be different.

What to do if your bike ignition is not working?
If the engine isn’t running and the rest of the electrics are dead I’d first check the connector from the generator to the rest of the wiring and also the connector to the ignition switch, and then the ignition switch itself. As the other guy said, you may need a multimeter to do this properly.
