There’s a brass colored bowl drain screw on the bottom edge of the manifold side of the bowl. You would go in from the left side of the bike with a long screwdriver. I have a similar issue. 96 superglide.
Why does my Harley Davidson run weird after a charge?
The reason its intermittent is the bike will start running weird in other words it would take a charge but if for some reason that charge did not hold for long the bike will start running weird again. So I went and change the battery and I’ve never had the problem since.
