Remove all hoses from the bowls and any fuel lines from the carbs. If your bike has the vacuum-assisted petcock on it (AKA Spawn of Satan or SOS), remove it, but keep all the tubes connected to it. Start with the carbs facing down – smaller diameter ends on the table, and choke plates facing you.

I think this should really be in the repair section but I can’t post there so I’ll testdrive my problem here. I have a recently purchased honda cb125s which continuously blackens my spark plugs. It seems clear that mixture is too rich but no amount of adjusting the air screw on the carb will do anything.
