How do you remove the front differential on a Polaris?
Remove the roll pin that goes through the yoke at the front differential. (make sure to get a new roll pin) 3. Slide the propshaft toward the transmission to remove it from the front differential input shaft. 4. When the shaft comes off the diff input shaft, then pull the propshaft forward to remove it. 5. Installation is reverse of removal.
Can you remove a drive shaft on a Polaris Ranger?
BD, FWIW you can do it that way on ’05-09′. Can’t relate after that. I always go back in with a SS bolt and self locking nut and THROW the roll pins away. An air chisel works well for roll pin removal. Otherwise, be prepared for a bit of a tussle….??? Any update on this? were you able to take it out with out removing the diff? No you can not.
