What kind of mpg does a Linhai 260 get?
Well, the original belt still looks brand new. The scooter ran smoothly and was getting 69 to 71 mpg on a very consistent basis. That is until about 2 weeks ago. I started to lose my MPG very fast. It went down from my normal range to 65 then to 61 and now sits at 59 MPG and I was having to crank the starter 2 or 3 times to get my bike to start.
What should I do if my Linhai 260 wont start?
I read somewhere that it should be 2 1/2 turn counter-clockwise from the closed position. So, with the idle set, the air/fuel mixture set and the valves sounding really nice, I thought that I would take care of the carburetor. Instead of taking it apart, I decided to use Sea Foam liquid that you add to the gas to clean out the parts.

When did the Linhai 260 Classic come out?
I have a 2006 Linhai 260 (Classic) that I bought in 2008 brand new. I currently have over 12,500 miles on it. I kept wondering if I should check the valves and replace the CVT belt. Two months ago, I even bought a replacement belt just to be ready.
Why does my Linhai 260 engine not start?
All of a sudden, after about 7 minutes, the engine just cuts off. It has not restarted since. I hear the starter turning (sort a whining noise) and I hear the muffler sort of back firing in a very soft manner. To me, it sounds like the fuel is not getting into the engine.
