They’ll be too loud. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news buddy. He did say the Speedster Longs might come in under the db limits (especially with the quite core baffles installed) – they’re available for my 1100 but not sure if they are available for the 650.

theyve got the deepest sound and are loudest. the others sound good too but they lack that thump at idle. if you want insanely loud take the baffles out. the staggereds do sound real close to the long style.

Morg is right, the vtwin will respond better with a 2-1. even if you look at sport bikes with in-line 4’s you will usually find 4-2-1 or 4-1 header configurations. can you imagine how ugly an r6 would look with 4 straight pipes?… yuck!
