As suggested, pull the spark plug and clean it (is it wet) ( do you have spark), pull air box cover and look for mice nest, then try to see if will run with a shot of ether in the carb. Whitehall Wi. Mine likes to eat spark plugs first thing I would do is change the plug.

Sounds like a wiring issue, something might be shorting. you should see if you cn pullstart it, i have a polaris sportsman 500 that starts good with pullstart but it doesnt with electric start. it turns over good but doesnt start… not sure whats wrong with it. No critters found or chafed wires.
