I have a 96 Polaris Indy 500, it starts up cold and runs perfect, good throttle response, but after 10 min of riding it, it Bogs down and dies, then never restarts. I’ve replaced all fuel lines,needles and seats, keys, intake boots, new coils.

Why is my INDY 500 Snowmobile not seated?

Follow the choke cables to the carbs and unscrew the brass base nuts, after unbolting these and if the springs/plungers don’t pull out gently and they look green…I doubt they have seated good. Sometimes you can feel something is not right when pulling the choke lever up and it pulls hard, even breaking the cables in some circumstances.

Is the Polaris Indy 500 boggy at the low end?

We have a Polaris Indy 500 EFI, it is very boggy at the low end.  If you juice the throttle hard from 2000 rpm it will bog and stick at about 3800 RPM and continue to flood / bogg.  If you back off the throttle, to about 2000 again and bring back up to 4000 it will eventually clear then the clutch will kick in and you’ll be on your way.
