Will Softail exhaust fit Street Glide?
Our exhaust systems are made to fit a specific model and year range. Unfortunately, exhaust from a certain model will not fit a different model. i.e. Softail pipes will fit Softails only and won’t fit on a Dyna, Sportster, Street, V-Rod, or Touring models.

You could use Softail pipes on a Dyna that do not have a rear mount if they are short. If they are long, the motor shaking will fatige the exhaust studs and eventually crack the studs, or the pipe flanges.

Evo and TC engine header pipes are interchangable, but mounting may be slightly different depending on model to model. The issue comes where some bikes need O2 sensors, and Evo headpipes don’t have them. Not an issue for you. As long as the pipe routing is the same around the rear cylinder, you should be fine.

Removing the baffles would essentially be the same as changing exhaust. Maybe even closer to drag pipes which may not perform how you want. As far as reprogramming you may want to consider adding a Dobeck EJK unit. I know that if there is a change in the exhaust or air-intake on a fuel injected bike, the fuel injection is simply reprogrammed.

If you remove the baffles or add a free flowing air filter it will run even leaner. You could add a fueler to richen up the air fuel ratio.
