It simply may be oil that has drained into the crankcase and has not been scavenged back to the oil tank, yet. It could cure itself after its run for a while. If not, may need an oil pump. If it has not been run in a while, it is just oil that has leaked past the check valve into the crankcase.
What causes no oil pressure when idling hot?
If not, you have an oil pump problem. If it does come out of the hose, everything should be alright. Harley engines are noted for “no oil pressure when idling hot”. The system is a high volume low pressure system. This is because of the use of roller bearings on the crank pin instead of insert style bearings.

What causes oil to leak from Breather vent on Harley Davidson?

What kind of oil does a Harley Davidson use?
The bike had 1,553 miles on it when I bought it and after riding it for roughly 1,500 more miles I decided that I would change the 20-50 Harley oil that was in it, to Amsoil 20-50 synthetic. I rode the bike another 1,000 miles or so and now it pushes some oil out the breather vent, I mean a light mist constantly while riding.
