Why are the parking brake pads on my Gator?
The brake disc (rotor) spins with the drive shaft and you want to make sure that when the park brake is released the disc can spin without rubbing the brake pads. Because you can’t move the RSX when brake is applied this rub is really the only thing that can wear the parking brake pads.
