1. Remove front tires 2. clamp shut both radiator hoses. ( they sell these at dealership). I borrowed a buddies. 3. remove hoses and drain radiator. 4. On right side there is a small plastic cover held on by 2 plastic push clips. Remove this. 5. Remove fan. It slides right out, after you unplug it. Be careful of tube on it.

Can you remove a radiator without removing plastic?
Just remove the fan and It will slide out from one side. Getting some of the Plastic shrouds off can fight you a lil but It will come out.. If theres as much room as on my 500 its not too bad. Takes maybe 15-20 minutes. I found it such a pain in the butt.
