Why is my abs and traction control light on?
Your car has sensors that monitor wheel speed and constantly relay information to the ABS and Traction Control system. It may send off inaccurate or flawed information to the ABS or Traction Control, which inadvertently activates their warning signals.
Why does the 4WD light come on when there is an ABS fault?
I’m sorry I was unclear on that. The 4WD system uses the ABS system in order to function and depending on the nature of the ABS fault it will turn the 4WD light on, indicating that it is unable to function properly.
