Why do I have no power to my door switches?
Pull back the moulding to reveal the wires, carefully inspect for any breaks. Almost all of the volkswagens run the wires to the switches and then out to the other doors. If you look at the fuse box, it is not really designed to be user friendly — you have to bend down to check, the label is not clear and full of abbreviations. Oh well Click to expand… With all these boxes I hope it’s not hardwired or something, that would suck.

Why does my Nissan power mirror stop working?
If the mirrors move both Left and Up, it means all of the wires to the internal motors are connected OK. Right and Down use the same wires, only with connections reversed. More likely the problem lies within the mirror switch. Hard to say if it might be a consequence of the fog light switch install.
