Long story short, we were “given” a 2014 4 cylinder extended high roof van for one year at no expense to us, to help us recover some of the multiple charges for the same problems we experienced on our 2008-2010 fleet. Ironically the 2014 experienced a major repair (under warranty) prior to the 20,000 mile mark!

That’s what I needed to know. 2007 they added a dpf (diesel particulate filter) and in 2010 they started using def (diesel exhaust fluid). God I love/hate my sprinter……!!! 2010 long and tall… That’s what makes me nervous about getting one. Others have the same love/hate relationship with them. Thanx Hobo.
