Why is indicator not working, bulb fine, relay?
I’ve got a 2000 suzuki where the indicator went on the left, I replaced and decided to replace the rh one too. rh stopped working totally, bulb was fine. This was simply down to the earth on the bulb housing. It was stuffed up the side of socket and folded back on itself to connect to the bulb housing.
How can I tell if my turn signal bulb has failed?
To check to see whether it’s the front or rear turn signal bulb that has failed, walk around the vehicle after selecting a turn signal direction, to see which of the turn lights (for the turn side you selected), front or rear, is not illuminated.

Could have exposed more wire and doubled it over, but just replaced that section with fatter (lower guage?) wire. Then found the cause of the original problem.
Why is the fuse on my car indicator not working?
Googling seems to suggest that the increased frequency is an indication of a faulty bulb, but I’ve changed the bulb and the problem remains. I’ve found the fuse but as far as I can see there is just one 30A fuse for all the indicators so I’m not sure how this could be the issue. Beyond those two replaceable parts I’m at a loss as to what I can do.

It is unlikely to be the relay if the right indicator functions as normal. The fast clicking is just a symptom of one indicator not working, so it is a wiring fault that you are looking for. This will be somewhere between the junction of the front left and rear left +ve wires and the ground connection of the rear left.
