Is the starter on my Vito van working?
Starter Works Fine And When The Van Was Running It Was Running Fine .it Started To Take A While To Start And This Just Got Worse Over A Few Days Till It Would Not Start At All.
Is the Vito Vito still in limp mode?
I must say thankyou. after suffering limp mode for 6 months +, this 10min fix has my vito flying again! unfortuanetly, its still not starting well and is in general, the worst vehicle ive ever owned, but at least i can now do more than 45mph up hills.

Vito Intermittent Starting Problem ! I have a 2004 111CDi Vito Long with 76K miles and have been experiencing intermittent starting problems for about a month. In the morning it starts first time and I can invariably stop and start several times during the day without the problem.
Why does my Mercedes Benz Vito not start?
However, sometimes when I try to start the vehicle (normally within approx 20 minutes of turning it off), the engine will either turn over but not fire or, will turn over and fire but not start. In all cases, the engine turns over without a problem so I don’t think it’s the starter motor.
