There is one flasher unit under the dash. A small 8 pin connector goes to it. The one flasher unit is responsible for both sides of the car front and rear. The hazard light, turn signals, and (if applicable) security blinks go through the flasher unit. Keep in mind this is from the 97 manual. Flasher unit in the diagram is labled F-02. Great!

Is the flasher on the right side working?
Neither does flasher when I put them on. Right side is fine. When I turn on the signal, sometimes it clicks as if it is on, other times, I get a weak clicking sound. Pep Boys couldn’t find anything (at least they didn’t charge me).
