Do you need impact switch on Mazda RX-8?
It also doesn’t come with an impact switch. Other than that well worth the money and my rx-8 is running great again. I had this installed a year ago and its worked perfectly and the car runs great with it.

Where is the intake valve on an RX8?
The valve is not like normal header valves on in a piston engine. It’s a long solid piece of aluminum with holes drilled in it. It sits in the lower intake manifold and an actuating arm spins it open and closed. It’s not something that would easily crack or be damage.
