What is Shift Solenoid A on a Mazda 3?
I was experiencing a transmission code P0753A (Shift Solenoid A) in my 2010 Mazda 3 2.0 liter and took the car to the dealer at that time they reset the code and could not duplicate the issue. We did a transmission drain and fill as that was mentioned as one of the causes for this issue. The dealer told me that the car was shifting fine.

Can a Mazda 3 go into safe mode?
My Mazda 3 would go into safe mode (unable to shift past 3rd gear) and have the check engine/AT light on. After doing some research it was recommended to replace the TCM. I took to a shop anyway to have it double checked, and sure enough they wanted to replace the TCM. However, they wanted over $1200.
