Why does my RX400h not show the ready light?
I’ve got a 2006 RX400H that will not show the ready light & therefor will not start. The 12 v battery has been tested & is fine. The gear display in the right hand side of the dash doesn’t show anything. A local garage has checked the fault memory, no faults, the engine control unit is recognising the car is in park.
When to check fuses on a Lexus RX400h?

(See my previous post started 15th March – RX450h didn’t start). The first two times it happened Lexus MK checked the car and could find nothing untoward. After the third time it happened they agreed it was probably the 12V Battery not holding its charge and replaced it under warranty.

Where is Trip Reset button on Toyota RX400h?
As soon as the LCD display on the gauge cluster goes from “hybrid drive” back to the mileage, begin to hold down the “trip reset” button to the left of the steering column for approx 30 seconds. While still holding down this button, (it may be tricky) pull down the seatbelt and buckle it. At this point look at the LCD display on the gauge cluster.

If you leave the “LEFT” or “RIGHT” rocker switch in either the “L” or “R” position vs the “center” position, the mirrors will fold downward while in reverse.
