How to fix no brake pedal after replacing caliper?
It is important to bench bleed the master for it to work right. You can kinda bench bleed it on the car, I would suggest you do that next. Then, reconnect the lines and re-bleed the whole system. What I can’t seem to figure out is how a simple caliper replacement and brake bleed led to the master cylinder failing (if that even is the issue).
Where does the brake pedal go on a Ford Fusion?
As title says, front left caliper was Siezed. R+R both front calipers. Bled brakes, and now pedal goes right to the floor. Doesn’t feel like the common “air in the system” type of pedal fade. Feels more like a mechanical disconnect from the master cylinder.
What happens when you press down on the brake pedal?
Whenever you press down on the brake pedal, the compressed brake fluid is sent down the lines, generating force so that the brake calipers clamp on the brake rotors to stop the turning wheels. The brake fluid functions in a high temperature, high pressure environment.
What causes a brake caliper to go to the floor?
If the backside of the tire is wet with fluid either you have a brake caliper that is leaking and must be replaced or a wheel cylinder that has gone bad and needs replacing. Both of these problems allow a fluid leak through their brake fluid seals.

Where is the pedal travel adjustment on a car?
After you are absolutelty certain that there is no air in the system, their may be a pedal travel adjustment which you can asjust yourself fairly easily. It is different per make of car where the adjustemnt is done. Most of the foreign cars will have the adjustment somewhere inside the car next to the pedal.
