What was the clutch problem on my Kia Rio?
Have 2006 Kia Rio that we were driving home from town going about 40mph when I went to shift in to gear then clutch petal went to the floor and came back up no problem, but couldn’t shift in to any gear. So we got it to the drive and got it to stop and park it in first gear and shut the car off.

Agree with James, if your clutch biting point is high, rev goes high and lack power, it shows that clutch pad is worn. Get the Clutch set replace or your FC will be high and driveability low. Thanks and safe driving. My own exp, clutch feels rough, hard to step. Cable replaced abt 7-80 bucks.

The pedal is dropping so low because of the lack of fluid in the master cylinder I think… however I have to pull the pedal back up as it drops right to the floor, but when being pulled back up I can then feel a spring that then holds it up.

A technique that I find very effective is to take a hose from the bleed nipple back up to a jar next to the reservoir so you can see the quality of fluid coming out and whether there is any air in it.
