Why does my Kia Sorento stall when turning?
It starts working at 1000 rpm, but then suddenly drops abruptly to 500 rpm and generally stalls. The problem is that, when driving and braking, it stalls just as well, so it is quite dangerous, especially when turning. Hope someone can help me.
Is the Kia Sorento engine on back order?
Well I’m not so sure because they don’t make brand new 2013 Kia Sorento engines anymore to the best of my knowledge. It is now December 11th 2018 and the engine is on back order. The claims department has no ETA of when the engine will arrive. I was also informed that my case file is being transferred to someone else.

Called Kia this morning and there is a recall, but it has to meet all the criteria to be fixed, and because I didn’t have it towed to Kia, they will not pay for towing, Next car is American made!! Best answer (according to Ciao!) Took it to Kia they replaced the starter inhibitor switch and replaced the recall items of the Kia Sorento, since then no problems so far. 2016 sorento wont crank, no click or any sound when key is turned. All electrical components work inside the cabin and had the battery tested it is good.

2016 sorento wont crank, no click or any sound when key is turned. All electrical components work inside the cabin and had the battery tested it is good. Tried cranking with it in neutral and still nothing.
