4 people found this helpful. I have 2007 kia amanti, 155,000 miles. Have change oil regularly and maintenance. It has developed dry start and owners manual, says this is normal. Ir takes approx. 3 seconds for it to build pressure enough to stop the chatter. The oil all drains out of the filter in 20 minutes and if it sits all night, bone dry.
