If when you remove the trim and notice any light rusting on the inside of the lift gate that means you got a small leak either from the wether stripping around the flipper glass or the trunk trim. A can of flex seal sprayed on the inside and cleaning and your all set. Hope this help ppl.

It’s more than likely an easy fix, such as unplugging the connector and replugging it back in. A stab in the dark, but try disconnecting the negative cable from the battery to reset the computer. Anybody else any ideas? Basically, you will need to swap 2 wires.
