Why is the right side brake light not working?

I just found out that my brake lights are not working. both the rear running lights work and the left rear turn signal light works. I could be wrong but I do believe the turn signals and brake lights all run through the multifunction lever. AKA the turn signal lever….. So you’re thinking that could be bad? I have had to replace them on chevrolets and one of our Macks. We couldn’t keep things simple we had to run brake lights and hazards through the turn signal lever.
