Why is the tailgate not latching on my Jeep?
Went to close it and nothing…tried it from the overhead button, rear button and key fob. Nothing. So I “closed” it manually and it will not latch/secure the tailgate. Tried to put it in reverse, then drive, then park and open/close…and it just stays open! :slapfight: Thoughts?

Why does the back hatch on my Jeep Cherokee not stay open?
The back hatch doesn’t stay up when cold so I have hit my head several times. The front and passenger door won’t stay open when pins or mech that holds door open goes out so have been hit by door, or swings too far and has damaged outside front wheel panel.
