Why does my Jeep Cherokee start hard when hot?
I have a 4 liter in my Cherokee that starts hard when hot. Starts just fine when cool. The problem as I understand it, is a condition called vapor lock. I know this term used to apply to carberated engines, but can and does happen on injected engines as well.

Is the engine hard to start when hot?
After hard run and shut down after 15 minutes it will start run 10 seconds very rough and die. Does this several times before finally settling down. My carb does this. Well I think this is the same problem as mine. When it’s hot it takes like 20seconds to start.
