Why is the gear slipping on my Jeep Grand Cherokee?
The gear is slipping it takes a hard time to come out of 1st gear almost as the car needs to warm up. This has been occurring for months and I see there has been other complaints. See all problems of the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee . Gear shift slips into reverse from the park position on the selector panel.

I own 2 JGC Limited’s, a 1994 and a 1998. Both have a problem turning at slower speeds. I’ve replaced the Transfer Case on the 98 and it didn’t help. The mech told me it was the 4 wheel drive engaging due to control arm bushings, shocks, and uneven tire wear (after replacing the TC!).
