When did the traction control light come on on my Jeep Grand Cherokee?

When did the traction control light come on on my Jeep Grand Cherokee?

They came out with an update and had it reflashed – it worked (no light and lorange worked) from Nov 2014 until Aug 2015. Now the Service 4wd is light is constantly on, no lo range – again. Service 4wd and traction control light came on. This is the 3rd jeep in the family to have this happen. Never been off road.

Is there a problem with my Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Now just have to take to Jeep dealer to update the jeep service 4wd system light, not fixed. Service 4WD System light on, Traction Control light on (meaning traction control is off). Car runs and drives fine.

Why does my Jeep have a service 4WD light?

The service manager called later in the day and mentioned they pulled a DTC from the DTCM that was isolated as being a faulty code generated from the ELSD due to faulty programming from Chrysler. Seems I’ve read several other people were told the same thing, only to find out that the “flash” repair process isn’t the fix for everyone.

Why does my 4WD Low Light not come on?

This light does not come on when I put my vehicle in 4LO, mud mode, etc. However, don’t drive on hard pavement for any period of time in these modes, and if you do, don’g make any sharp turns. This will bind up the driveline, which is not good for it. That is not normal.
