Why are my power locks on my Jeep Liberty not working?

Recently my power locks stopped working. I have to manually unlock/lock doors. My key fob does not do anything. Even when I try to unlock doors using lock/unlock button I get nothing. I cannot open rear hatch as it is locked and there is no spot to unlock it with a key.

I never lock my doors with the key fob, but always lock it with the door button. You did not mention whether the door button to lock the doors worked or not. I would think that if the door button locks the doors, then it is not the TIPM but the remote key module which is separate.
