Had the same problem just occur, all buttons on steering wheel and touchscreen work fine except for the center controls underneath the touchscreen. Tried this fix above (pulling and putting back the F49 fuse) and had no success.

I had the same issue with my MY2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo. The reverse camera simple stopped working and problem coincided with me blowing the 20A cigarette lighter fuse (Fuse F93 in the fuse panel under the bonnet/hood/engine bay) when using the cigarette lighter to run a 12V to 240V inverter to charge my laptop battery.

The connection in the rear liftgate where the Camera wires plug into (white plastic connection) was burnt out / shorted. The mechanic cut the connector and hard-wired the camera. All is good. I just reset the relay on my 2015 Cherokee latitude now my camera is working.
