Why is my AC compressor not working on my Jeep Compass?
I have 2011 jeep compass and I have replaced the evaporator then charge the system with a134 ferion .. but ac compressor not working .. there was not power I have seen fueses all are good .. Do you have any suggestions?

I believe that the a/c system has a pressure switch that won’t allow the compressor to turn on if the system is low on refrigerant, find this switch and bypass it and see if that makes a difference. If your system was low–changing a component would cause that, it could be still confused.

Walmart is no help and has no clue whats going on. the orange light comes on the dash when you press the button but the compressor never kicks on. There is no fuse or relay for the compressor clutch. Power for the compressor clutch comes from one of the TIPM circuit boards, through connector C1, pin 50.

Check fuse #21 (underhood fuse box). If it is good, swap the A/C relay with another identical relay (likely it s one in that very same fuse box). Now turn on the a/c (engine running) to see if the compressor engages. unplug the electrical connector at the a/c compressor clutch.
